am looking for parents, siblings and children of john crump, born around 1832 in weston under penyard and mary ibell born around 1829 in weston under penyard. i believe their marriage was registered in december 1858, in weston under penyard. they had at least one daughter marian born around 1864 in weston under penyard. according to the 1881 census they were living at 2 rock cottage in weston under penyard, hereford. they are my great-great grandparents. any information greatly appreciated.

Debbie I found just two Ibles in the 1851 Glos census, both from Upton Bishop, not that far from Weston, and there the Ible name goes back to 1593 Fred

My name is Gail Stirling and I am a relative of the Ibles from Gloucestershire. My Grandfather was Edward Charles Ible who Married Hetty May Ravenhill.They moved to Australia in the late 1920's with my mother Edna Grace Ible, they then adopted a son John Ible and later Hetty gave birth to a son Colin William Ible. In Australia there are only 2 Ibles both my uncles. I visited the UKK. in 1992 when my mother was dying so she could see family once more and stayed with some cousins in Gloucestershire. I was bown away to find so many family members as we are so few here in Australia.

Bit late,this reply - but what's 6 years between cousins? Well, sort of - John Crump and Mary Ibell are my g.g.grandparents too.
Their daughter Marian,my g.grandmother, died in childbirth in 1883. She was an unmarried Mum and I think she may have had the baby (Kate, my granny) in a workhouse or something, down in Cinderford or perhaps Westbury-on-Severn... Kate married Norman Tovey, they lived in Bristol and had one son, John. John married Lucinda Boulton.I'm John and Lucinda's daughter, Cynthia.
John Crump's parents were Thomas Crump(born abt 1780) and Elizabeth Thomas (b.1810?)I think, but can't seem to find out where they were from.
Perhaps you have gathered a lot more info over these years, if so I'd be interested to hear it.
