Hello I hope someone can help. My husband's grandfather (born in Suffolk) has suddenly appeared working in Rempstone Hall, Loughborough as a chauffeur. This was a bit of a surprise as we thought he had moved directly from Suffolk to North Wales;

Does anyone know anything about Rempstone Hall; I have just googled it and it seems to be a convent now. The gentleman in residence in 1911 was a Thomas William Carr;

In a 1920 Directory it is listed as a large mansion with small park adjoining. J.N. Derbyshire Esq listed as resident then.
