Dear Sheila,
VERY interested to have your message!
Our ancestors came from Lutterworth. Our family line comes directly down fromTimothy Sims Corrall, who's father was Francis Corrall the clockmaker. If your husband is interested in the family tree, I can let him have information about the family line that goes back to a Hugo de Segrave(Lord Segrave) who died in 1133.
I live in Southampton,so it would be no trouble to post you a copy of what I have on the family.
It is always of great interest to me and my sister to find other members of the Corrall clan. We can also boast that there is a Corrall clock in our family too!!
Hope to hear from you

Angela

Hi Angela,
Intrigued by your Corrall of Lutterworth posting.
My gt grandma called herself Jane Corrall when she married in Dublin in 1869, and later says she was born just west of Dublin in 1849. Her father is listed as John Corrall occupation "gsmith" (gunsmith maybe?). She married a british soldier stationed in Dublin but from a village near lutterworth (Peatlings), and they came to Newton Harcourt to be near his married sister, when he retired from the army soon after marriage. Could her family be Lutterworth Corralls?
regards,
Stuart Cook

Hi
Very interested to hear from you. Depending on the approximate date of the clock, it was probably made by my husband's gt.gt.grandfather. We would appreciate more details if you would care to get in touch again direct on dragonfly@arrakis.es
Regards
Sheila Corrall
