My full name is Brian Blyth Daubney. I've never been sure where the name 'Blyth' came from. My father was a Daubney of Belchford, Horncastle, Lincs. My maternal Grandfather, George Danby, came from the Marshchapel area. My middle name suggests that my mother (b.Sarah Ann Danby)may have chosen it as a link between her birth name and married name since I have read of Daubneys living in the Marshchapel area. Can anyone offer any enlightenment, please.
