What else do you know about George. I have checked the 1837 register, where ALL birhts are recorded, and there is no George Windmill registered in the North of England, from the beginning of 1871 to the end of the first quarter in 1872.

The George Windmills who are recorded during that time are:-

In the First quarter of 1871, two are registered in St. Albans, and one in Greenwich.

in the fourth quarter of 1871 there is one registered in Clifton.

NO OTHER george Windmills are listed. SO you have something wrong, so what do you actually know about this man, and where did you get the information from.

Thanks for answering but the vol. & page no. are not the same I have it as v10 & page731
But I am not sure whether there is a place in northumberland called morton because I cannnot find it on a map.
I live in the midlands but I come from chester-le-street.

I got the imformation from search it was already listed there according to the list I got up he was married to (Annie Rodgerson) and she was born in portobella and they had 6 children one of which was my father (Charles Windmill) born in 1892 his vol. is 10a page 1117 if you live up there perhaps you could look it up if there is any expence I will gladly pay for it I have send twice for a birth certificate without success

Charles Windmill the son of George was not born until 1892 and his marriage took place in chester-le-street in 1923 to Edith Agnes Howes by looking up Chales is how I found his father but I do not get any ferther back from there Charles was my father he died in 1976 in Coventry

Thank for replying but I am now convince that someone has made a mistake in putting place name morton there is a place in America called morton, northumberland. I now think that he was born in hetton-le-hole,durham as the vol & page numbers as the same vol 10a & page 731 and he was born in 1869 I will be corrected if this is not so.
