Ponteland is in Northumberland, North of Newcastle upon Tyne, NOT Durham. They have a Town Council who can be contacted by email, and they may help you. There is a Church Yard attached to St. Mary's Church. Ponteland is not very big so Church Yards in that area will be limited.

email for Ponteland council is

enquiries@pontelandtowncouncil.co.uk

Also, if you go to www.monkchester.co.uk

and when this comes up, look at Newcastle West, Ponteland, there are photographs of various places in Ponteland.

If you are going to Ponteland by car, travel up to Newcastle upon Tyne and then take the road to Newcastle Airport. Ponteland village is just under 2 miles north, on the A 696. If you are going by train, there is a metro link direct from Newcastle central station, to the Airport. What name are you looking for?
