Hi,I know its a long shot, but i too have a Kate Craggs in my family! My Great grandmother was a kate craggs of Melsonby, north yorkshire,.She was the daughter of william craggs(b.in Gilling, yorks) and Catherine Dinsdale(b.Melsonby north yorks). The name Kate or catherine seems to crop up on that side of the family quite a bit,so i was wondering.......

regards
spencer

Hi
My Kathy is living, so probably shouldn't even be up there. She married the Cragg. I don't know if I have others.

I am afraid that I have not gone very far into the Spraggon family other than my previous message as it is mainly the Cowing family I am researching.

Hope you find them.

Thanks for your very prompt reply. If I may be so nosey is there a connection between the Cowing family and the Spraggons and how do you trace your roots back to Hannah? I understand completely if you prefer not to disclose this information. But if you would like to you can contact me directly at fitzgerald@videotron.ca

Take care and happy hunting,
Wendy
