I would like to find any information on the Bells that lived at Newcastle Upon Tyne in Northumberland. They had a son named Richard. He would have been born in the mid 1930's. He served in the R.A.F.

Bell's from Newcastle

My mother's name was Mary Winifred Bell, daughter of Lilian Margaret ( or Marguerite) Rumball and George Bernard Bell. This was a second marriage for him, he was a widower with a grown family when they were married. My sister has more info on the grown children, none of my mother's brothers were named Richard, however the name Bell seems to be very common there. Will send more info as soon as possible. Our family is here in Canada, emigrated in 1944. Rest of my mother's family is still in Newcastle. Does this help?

I do not believe that I am a relative. I am looking for a Richard Bell, wife by the name of Beatrice. He had a sister named Mary. In the 1980's Mary visited her Canadian relatives (Laird) on Vancouver Island.
I have not been able to contact the Bell family at the last known address.
Any help on locating Bell family would be appreciated.

Caught my eye...BELL family name and possibility of BELL's still living there. There is a BIG time frame difference Maybe they carried on grandparents names....My gg grandfather was Richard BELL Newcastle-on-Tyne before 1870's. Very little family history here. Only know My grandfather Joe (Josiah) born Sept 30 1879 in Newcastle-on-Tyne came to U.S. and married in PA to Rose Marie Reese before 1916. He brought 2 sisters with him or arranged to have them brought to U.S.--- Lilly and Daisy. He had several other brothers possibly 4 one of them blind. Names of Joe's brothers were Richard, Thomas and Edward My father remembers Uncle Andy but he went back to ENG. Any help would be appreciated. Donna

My great grandparents were Charles Sutherland Bell and Elizabeth Dixon. My grandmother was Anne Bell. I know she had siblings: Ronnie (who moved to Australia), Ella, and three other brothers. Ella was a twin with one of the brothers. Charles' father's name was Matthew Sutherland Bell. Elizabeth's father's name was John Dixon
