hi Ann,I was browsing when I saw that you req info. My grandmothers eldest sister married a Gray from Wisbech ST. Mary @ the turn of the last century. Her name was Elsie and they lived @ Flower Pot Lane. They had at least 8 boys, earning a living by means of scrap metal. I know that one of the boys was deaf and dumb and attended the Deaf And Dumb School in Gorleston, GT.Yarmouth. I would appreciate if you have any other info on this paricular part of the Grey family you could let me know, my Grandmother(still living) is unsure what became of her eldest sister as elsie had a different upbringing as the 2 girls had different fathers. concequently thats why little is known, my great grand mother was in service at Ingham Hall aged 16 when she fell pregnant. Any way thnks for your time, and sharing a bit of family scandal!! Regards, Claire x
