Seeking information on the above between 1800 - 1850. Paricularly in regard to George Thacker b 1823 who married Susannah Ogden of Emneth and went on to be the lanlord of two different inns in Upwell.
Have seen mention of a William Thacker and an Edward Thacker - latter ended up in Swafham Poor Union - but unable to identify George's parents.

I don't know when George married Susannah exactly but by 1851 they were living in Upwell with son John and son William George followed in 1853. Necton is near Bradenham and the Thackers you mention could well be related further back but, if so, are not the same branch. Thanks for suggestion.
