James GODBOLT and his sister, Mary GODBOLT, were baptised in 1756 and 1760 respectively in Redenhall, the children of James and Elizabeth GODBOLT. James (junior) moved to St. Albans, Hertfordshire, and Mary married Joseph HONEYWOOD in Redenhall in 1779.
I would be interested to hear from anyone who knows anything of James (senior) and Elizabeth (maiden name?) and their origins. From the 1811 will of James (junior) it is obvious that they were related to a Jasper GODBOLT, who was living at that time in Framlingham, Suffolk.

I dont know if this info will be of any use to you but I did find on IGI James GODBALD also spelt GODBOLD marrying Elizabeth SWALLOWS 1753 at Redenhall.
