Don't know if you are aware of a a Thomas Kebar mentioned on the FreeBMD site, born June 1853 in Brixworth. The details are:

District: Brixworth. Volume:3b. Page: 11*

Any good? You should be able to get his birth certificate from this information.

Good luck

Kind regards

Christine

Hello Anne,
My maiden name was Keber, my grandfather was born in Brixworth and I have traced the family back in Brixworth Parish records to 1562. There are various spellings of the name including Keber, Kebar, Keeber and even Keybar. There are other branches of my family in Old (or Wold), Pitsford, Draughton and possibly other nearby villages. If I have any information which would help you I am happy to forward it.

Best Regards,
Annette.

Hello Karen,
My maiden name was Keber and on my family tree I have an Elizabeth Kebar baptised 1727 who married John Buckby of Wold. Her parents were William and Elizabeth Kebar ( nee Freeman). Is this of any use to you?

Best Regards,
Annette.

Hello,

I have an ancestor called Mary Keeber who was born in Pitsford in 1823. Her father was John Keeber, born in Brixworth. These are relatives on my mother's side. Maybe these are the Keeber's/Kebar's etc. that you are talking about. I think John married an Esther Cook. His father was John Keeber/Kebar and married a Sarah Balderson, I think, 1799. His father was also possibly a John Kebar, who married Mary Rigby in 1758. Are these also your relatives? If so I would appreciate and other information that you have.
Thank you

Karen Stead

My Grandmas maiden name was Keeber and she came from Old and I still have a great uncle who lives there. My grandma married a Garner and moved to Walgrave the next villiage but travelled to Old everyday to look after her mother. My grandma was born in 1917 the second youngest of 7 children (the first who was born out of wedlock around 1902)
If anyone would like to share information I would appreciate it.
Sarah

My grandmother, Lucy Elizabeth, was a Keber from Old who married Herbert James Garner and lived in Walgrave. They had three children- Betty Ellen, James Herbert and Robert. Betty Ellen Garner is my mother, who married Alfred Young from Orlingbury. James Herbert married a wren from Manchester and Robert married a girl from Raunds and still lives there.

If you would like more details of the branches and dates please let me know at snyoung1066@yahoo.co.uk.
