Ashby of Bugbrooke is a very well researched line. There are a couple of Victorian family trees going back to about 1500 if you are lucky enough to connect to it. Some Ashbys were quakers so you might be drawn to them. If I can help I will. Perhaps you could confirm from 1861 census who the parents of your Joseph were. email me on
