Northamptonshire: Villages of Oundle, Great Weldon, Little Weldon, Corby. 1750 - 1875

First name JOHN. It is likely JOHN was a convict. In AUSTRALIA certainly by 1842, when first of THREE CHILDREN born to him by CATHERINE Rhall/Rall/Rahill/ Rehill/Rahilly/Rehilly in (what was then) Victoria, Australia.
CHILDREN registered by variety surname spellings SARAH JANE b. 1842 Port Fairy VIC, two younger brothers William and Richard both of whom seem to have taken on surname WORLDON, and if so William (Worldon)died at Young NSW from accidental gunshot wound in 1861, while Richard (Worldon)drowned in flooded Murrumbidgee River at Gundagai NSW 1891 leaving a youngish widow (Mary FULLER) and large family of young children, one my great-grandmother Catherine WORLDON.

I am just starting to trace my family. Currently, my family is living in the states. We moved here in 1976 from Stamford, Lincolnshire. I was talking to my dad the other day about tracing my great-great-great grandfather. He is still gathering data....

I have also just started researching my family history. My great grandfather Christopher Thomas Glithero was born in Stamford in 1860. He died in Market Overton. He was the son of John Glithero and Ann Page who were married in Stebbington, Huntingdon in 1860. I have some information on his parents, brothers and sisters and aunts and uncles.

I have also just started searching the Clitheroe family tree
My grandfather Fred Clitheroe was born in Preston England Oct.23, 1886 and came to Canada. I think he came with his brothers Arthur and Percy but I have not yet proved that the three are related.

I have traced my Grandmother Kathleen Clitheroe Born in Preston 1906. She has a brother Harry. Her parents were Fredrick Clitheroe married to Sally Leigh
