Hello ELLinSpain--thank you so much for this information.
I had some of the census information , but not all,but had thought that if Eleanor was born in the Isle of Man I probably couldn't find out who she was etc
I am so pleased to have these details--I really appreciate you taking the trouble to find and pass on the info
Could I ask please--where you were able to find the IOM details?
Going through census returns etc on ancestry ,it seemd that most of the Umneys came from the West Country which had made me wonder if I had read Northamptonshire incorrectly but as you have it as well, it's confirmed that I did read it properly
