My Gr Gr Grandmother was Mary Hughes Ettenborough her father was Thomas Hughes and her mother was Mary?
GR Gr Grandma married Thomas Ettenborough of Gaddesby Leicestershire on 11 Nov 1823. They left england after the birth of their Daughter Elizabeth in 1830. Elizabeth was born in Towcester and was the 4th child. They left England for the USA and settled in Caldwell New Jersey, Thomas was a Miller and starte a Flour Mill in Caldwell. They had 5 more children later.
I would like to know more about the Hughes family. Including Mary's family name.
I will be traveling to England the end of December and would like to know of any living family members. Hughes or Ettenborough.

I have looked at the online entries for Towcester & have only found a will for Thomas Hughes Snr, Auctioneer in 1852 and a Record of Enterprises in Towcester 1849 which lists: T. Hughes - Furniture Broker.

Unfortunately the dates of the records on the Towcester & Dist Local History Society do not cover the dates required here but I have found the following reference to someone who holds the BMD records and will do look-ups:
