I am trying to find information about Mary Sophia Chambers born in Snenton, Nottinghamshire on 7 February 1858. On her birth certificate only the mother's name, Rebecca Chambers is shown. On her marriage certificate her father is listed as Joshua Chambers. Mary married Robert Crick on 25 December 1882. Can you help with any information?

My gg grandfather was George Chambers. His family came from Trowell/ Ilkeston Nottingham/Derby.

George was born in 1939 Ilkeston. His parents were John Chambers b. 1791 (collier) and Hannah Chambers I wonder if there is some family connection here especially as my gg grandfather had a brother called Enoch?

I am interested in a Gordon Chambers, who lived in Australia after being born in the UK. Believed to have been born some years before 1930.
His father was known as Gordon Chambers. believed to be born about 1885 in the UK. He married an Agnes Edith Williams, born 22/10/87 in Ebbw Vale, South Wales.
Gordon and Agnes are believed to have married some time about 9 years either side of 1920.
Gordon and Agnes lived in Southampton, England and is believed to have died in Southampton before 1948. During his working life Gordon Chambers (senior) was reputed to be a sea-going ship's captain.
