My ancestors, William, Helen and Caroline Thompson, and probably their parents, were confirmed/married/baptized etc. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in the early 1800's. Is there anyone willing to send digital photos of the church to my personal e-mail account, bengals111@hotmail.com?

Entering St. Mary's Church Nottingham into Google's image search will reveal many more photos.

There is a Nottingham site called picturethepast.org.uk which has lots of photo's of old Nottingham which you may find interesting. I have even found a picture of the house where my father was born in 1926 (6 & 8 Brooks Street). The photo was c1914 but shows that the property was to be "modernised" by the local council. Hope you have some success on this.
