what was your grandfather's name? You need to know that so you can get a copy of their marriage certificate which will give you her father's details.

There is a Clara Morley marriage registered in Nottingham in 1913, spouse John H CORBETT and another in March 1919 to a John H SMITH.

In 1901 census in Park St Nottingham there is a 4 year old Clara Morley with parents William and Philomena plus 6 sisters....a possibility.

John H Smith is my grandfather, I tried and was not able to get the information. This will help me loads now. My father up to yesterday did not know if his parents were married in Canada or England! I found the ships register with her sailing from England to Canada. He was thrilled. This is my first time doing the family in England. I ahve been doing the family in Scotland up until now. Thank you again!!!
