I have transcripts of the above parish records which I am willing to search.
I can also search the 1851 census for the Witney Union and the 1881 census for England and Wales.
All searches are free of charge.

I am the grand daughter of Harington Offley Shore who was the Vicar at Black Bourton Church from 1913 to 1929 when he died. I would imagine that he was buried there and most likely had a memorial stone erected. I would love to know what was on that stone. He was married to Jessie (fly Baguley) and had a daughter Eleanor Bohon, a son Harington Prendergast (my father) and I believe another son Foye. I would be grateful for any information which is available.

Would you be able to let me have any info on the COOK family from Filkins (they were the millers at Filkins Mill in 19th and early 20th centuries) and the PARTRIDGE family from Langford who married into the COOK and BALL families please? From about 1750 in both cases if possible

Hi Matt, I have looked at the Filkins PR's but they only start at 1864. Prevoius to this all records were recorded in the Broadwell (Bradwell) PR's There are many Cook(e)entries in those records but no way of telling from which village they lived in although I suspect they were all probably related somewhere along the line. I will send you what I can find in the Filkins records after 1864 in a couple of days, if you would like the Braodwell records let me know. As I said they appear to be quite extensive starting in about 1630 so may take a few days to type up. There doesn't appear to be any Ball records in Broadwell that a quick glance shows up.

I think the children are Eliza c1824, Amelia c1827, Elizabeth c1829, William c1831, Luiza?? c1835, Zilfa?? c1838 and E.... c1840(illegitimate)

Your info has confirmed my thoughts that Amelia ? married to a John Comley, was also a Comley! I have a wonderful picture of her on her wedding day in 1913 aged 87 - she lived to 90.

I am interested in any info you may be able to find on the Hopkins family. The earliest reference I have found is JOHN Hopkins b 1803 in Westwell, he married Mary Lanchbury in 1825. His father may have been Joseph Hopkins.
Anything you can find about his parents, siblings and children would be most welcome,
