I am trying to find any information on the Barrett/Barret/Barratt family from Exton, Rutland. England.
With some help I have been able to trace back to:
George Charity Barrett b.abt 1796 in Exton, Rutland. Christening: 24 Jan 1796 in Exton, & died in 1835 in Exton. His mothers name was: Susannah Barret. (George married on: 21 Dec 1820 Exton, Rutland. Spouse: Mary Reynolds).

I Have also found records for:
Thomas Abel Barratt b.abt 1772 in Exton, Rutland. His wife was called: Susanna b.abt 1776 also in Exton.
They had children called:
William Charity Barratt - Christening: Mar 25, 1798.
Thomas Barratt - Christening: Nov 15, 1807.
Alice Barratt - Christening: Oct 27, 1811. I believe all were born in Exton.
I would like to know if George is also a child of Thomas Abel Barratt & Susanna, or if this was not the case who was his father & what was his mothers maiden name etc?
Any help greatly appreciated!

The following three children, also had a mother called Susannah Barratt Sometimes the spelling of the surname changes, but this is not unusual.

I was interested to find your message re Thomas Abel Barratt as I have been researching Barratt s from Exton for a while .... what records had you found for Thomas Abel Barratt. I haven't come across his baptism in the Exton parish records.
