I am a descendant of Francis Garfoot of Greetham, who gives his father's name as Charles on his marriage certificate. My Francis was born in circa 1810, and went on to run a Carrier business between Ibstock and Loughborough on a thursday, and Ibstock and Ashby De La Zouch on a Saturday according the the Leicestershire records. Any assistance would be appreciated as it would appear Rutland records are a little sparse.
