Surnames: MOORE, CLEVELAND, ALGAR, BAILEY, WHYATT
I am reseaching the above names and would welcome correspondence and input from anyone with a knowledge/link with these families. They were based around the Mutford,Barnby,Wrentham areas plus a few other villages in Suffolk. I am particularly looking for the birth of a Samuel Moore who married Elizabeth Cleveland in 1783, he was probably born around 1760, they were married in Wrentham.

Please email me at janet@ellisat16.freeserve.co.uk

I have no personal interest in these names, but I would be pleased to pass on any information I have.

Yes the names in your tree are very familiar to me, we have Moore (obviously), Cleveland, Algar, Bailey not sure about the other names at the moment though.

Ours are:-

Samuel Moore married Elizabeth Cleveland in 1783 his son
Joseph Moore married Lydia Algar in 1810 their son
Samuel married Mary Ann Bailey in 1846 their son
William married Mary Ann Wyatt in 1868 their son
Garnet married Violet Ethel Halfpenny in 1915 their son
Alan John married Mildred Miriam Loveys in 1946 their son
Alan Brian married me Gillian Abbott (nee Francis) in 1976

so yes I guess there could be a connection don't you think so? The majority of the marriages took place in Banrby, Suffolk Samuel & Elizabeth married in Wrentham, Suffolk Garnet, married in Carlton Colville the rest in Lowestoft but all in Suffolk? Be great to hear from you see where we connect if we do?

Look forward to hearing from you

That looks like exactly the same family to me Barnby Suffolk,Corton ,Carlton Colville and Lowerstoft are the areas a lot of my family are from on my mothers fathers side I didnt have as many of the Moore marriages and I also have a mistake.

My bit of tree looks like
Samuel Moore = Mary Cleveland (this must be Elizabeth)

I only the one child
Joseph = Lydia Algar

One of there children
Mary = James Bunn [my mothers line]

Going backwards in time I have nothing more on the Moores
on the Clevelands I have Marys parents as Thomas Cleveland = Susanna Elmy

Thomas parents as William Cleveland = Lydia Pratt

Williams parents as William Cleveland = Mary ?

and Lydias parents as James Pratt and Lydia Groves

I have bits and bobs more email me on
