I'm looking for info on my nana, she died 8 years before i was born in 1964 and was an only child. She grew up in Westerfield, Suffolk with her parents Christopher Weavers Born 1882 and Harriet Smith Born 1884.

I would really like to find out some details about my nana and any photos people might have.

Hi Winifred, I live in Melbourne, Australia. I was born in 1951 and my Dad, Walter Garner Weavers was born in 1920 in Australia to the recently emigrated Frank Weavers and Deborah Garner from Ipswich. His brothers went on to establish a sand and gravel and road building business in Ipswich. A distant forebear, James Weavers, sailed on the second fleet to Australia, where displaying great courage he " singe handedly saved the ship" and was accorded a pardon on the condition that he never return to England. He proceeded to great wealth and a member of the NSW parliament. If I may help further, plese let me know.
