Hi Sue: Sorry, I've only got Somerset records. I'm glad they were of some use to you.

Thank you once again for your help.
Can I ask how and where I would post a message for Suffolk as I'm new to posting messages, a contact told me where to go for somerset.
Also would it be to much trouble if I can ask you to have a look for George Fisher's 2nd marriage to Emma Binding November 1855 WSM.
Thanks Sue

To post to the Suffolk Message Board: look along the top of this webpage where it says "Message Boards...Localities...England", click on "England" and it will give you a list of the boards for the different counties. Click on Suffolk.

As you will see, the marriage of George Fisher in 1855 was to Emma Ham, not Binding. As she was a widow, one will be her maiden name and one her previous married name - I don't know which is which without checking further.

A copy of the marriage entry is attached. Note that they married in Emmanuel Church which only 'opened for business' in 1847. Any further checking would have to be in the St John registers.
