William & Martha are my GT Gt Gt Grandparents (I believe).
I have no details on Martha's parentage (yet) but I believe that William is the son of William
CARPENTER and Elizabeth
COPLEY (or
COBLEY).

MOSLEY has done some research which she has passed onto me that takes the
CARPENTER line back to around 1600. I have yet to cross-reference the work which I always recommend (including my own work) just to get a second source.
I am descended through their son Charles and from him Francis, who was one of the siblings that migrated to South
Wales.
