This is my first posting to this list as I have just started researching my 5th Great Grandparents, William
Hatch (b abt 1750
Somerset) & Jane
Tucker (b abt 1751
Somerset).
As far as I know they had 2 sons. William (b 18 November 1775
Somerset) & Richard (b abt 1777 and christened in Badgworth on 8 September 1777).
William Jnr moved to
Whitburn, Co
Durham and married Jane
Nicholson in Bishopwearmouth on 12 June 1798. Information contained in the parish records for their children's christenings states that William came from Stone
Allerton,
Somerset.
I have no further information on Richard.
I'd really like to make contact with anyone else researching this family.
