I am looking for any info on Thmas Chorley (1857-1930's) and his wife sarah Jane nee Binding.They lived at Stream near Watchet.I would like any info on their parents and siblings.

Unknow if this info will be of any help to you-but in researching my G. Grandfather William Chorley I found the following on the 1871 census of LLanfabon address Ystrad School
William Charley head married age 22 Police Constable born creech, St. Michael -Somerset County
Wife Elizabeth age 25 born Cardigan, Cardigan
Daughter Harriet 6 mos. born Ystrad Mynach, Glamorgan
William was born in 1849 and died in 1943 in Massachusetts

Was interested to read your entry re William Chorley of Creech St Michael. Found one of my Chorleys on the 1911 Census at Creech St Michael - John Chorley and wife Ann and their daughter, Daisy. John's father was born Brompton Ralph, baptised Chipstable. Do you think there may be a connection? Regards, Valmai.
