Sorry no one in Somerset but we are spread over quite a large area as a family. Unfortunately the ladies have all married and therefore changed their names. I live in Bishop's Waltham, just outside of Winchester. I have a distant cousin who is also involved in the history of the name. If you are interested let me know and I will persue it? Good luck in your search.
Regards, George Westcombe

Hi There are a lot of Westcombe's in Somerset. you will find that infact the name of WESTCOMBE has changed to WESCOMBE, and in some instances Wiscombe and other variations. The name Deborah Wescombe, father William mentioned in an earlier reply is in my tree along with many others. I think most of the name difference is through miss transcription etc.
Regards Malcolm
