Hi there,
Yes I am interested in the HARTGILL family. Do I know more than you about the family?? I don't know---- I suppose that we would have to correspond to find out what we each know about this family.---here are "my" Hartgills:
Ferdinand Hartgill married Elizabeth Benson ,Nov. 28, 1755 @ Salisbury, Wiltshire. They had at least 3 sons, Henry Samuel Hartgill, John Hartgill and William Hartgill

I have collected some information about the Hartgill family in Kilmington.

Now it is your turn. What do you know?
Kathleen

Hi Vaughan,
I live in Toronto, Canada. I am interested in the Hartgill family as they married into my BENSON family in Wiltshire. You carry the HARGILL surname so you obviously are directly descended from the male Hartgill line. What are the names of your Hartgill grandparents? Here is what you need to find out in order to trace your HARGILL family.

Where were your Hartgill grandparents born? I assume that they were born in England? When were they born? How about back farther than that ? Do you know any of your family history?

Hartgill is not a common name and it can be easier to trace than some of the more common surnames. I can help you trace your family if you can provide more information.
