I'm looking for information on the Montague or Montacute family from Montacute village in Somerset - England.
My Great-Grandmother was Lottie Alberta Montacute/Montague (b. 1883). She married Charles William Benjamin Ham in Lambeth/ London in 1902. She had four sisters and a brother - Maud Evelin (b. 1883), Flossie (b. 1885), Gladys Marjorie (b. 1890), Francis Leslie (b. 1894) and Gertrude Amy (b. 1896). Their parents where Francis Montacute/Montague (1859-1902) and Mary Sarah Wilson (b. 1856).
The family moved up to Lambeth/ London between 1891 and 1894.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Your Francis wasn't a Frederick by any chance? It's just a brother of my ancestor Mary Ann is called Frederick b.1859 in Montacute.

Also the name Lowe doesn't crop up anywhere in your research does it, as it appears my Montacute's changed their name to Lowe at some point.

You don't happen to know the parents or siblings of Henry age 49 in 1861,a s I have a Walter Montacute age 45 in 1861, born in Odcombe Somerset. Do you think they could be brothers?
