I have a charles edward langridge born aug.23 1907 moved to canada in sept. 1918. Also his uncle charles langridge born in east tisted hants july 12 1883, father's name david langridge. Any information would be appreciated.

I have Langridge in our family, a Sophia Langridge married a George Young in June of 1896 in Croydon Her fathers name was on her marriage cert as Ralph John Langridge.
have you come across this name? They moved to Canada in 1916, George and their daughter Sophia came out first about 1912, I think. They had 10 children! Sophia died in 1918 from the flu epidemic they had here then.

My mother is a Langridge born in Croydon in June 1925. Moved to Canada in 1944 after losing her husband Jack at the Invastion of Normandy. Her Parents were Ralph Langridge(who;s father name was also ralph) and Florece Stockdale/and her parents were William Stockdale and Matilda Simmons. I believe that Sophia was ralphs sister but that is a guess, I have heard my mother speak of a Sophia if you have any further enquiries do not hesitate to ask

My gggGrandfather was Jesse Langridge born abt. 1801 (a hackney cab proprietor). His father, I believe was Richard Langridge (farmer) and he had a daughter Mary Ann Eleanor Langridge born abt. 1829 - do you have any information regarding - I am interested to know who Mary's mother was. I believe Jesse remarried in 1864, to Elizabeth Linnington.
