Wooler family

I am seeking information on the family of an Elizabeth Wouller of Barking, London who married in 1614, in Stepney, Middlesex to Col. William Willoughby. Elizabeth mentioned two sisters in her will, Anne, wife of William Griffin, and Jane Hammond. I believe the sister Anne is the Anne Woolner who married about 1640 in Stepney, Middlesex to John Carnaby and that she was the Anne Carnaby who married about 1645 also in Stepney to William Griffin. I have found a PCC will for a John Wouller of London dated about 1617 (as I recall). I haven't examined this will yet. I'm told by a friend who has seen the will that this will mentions various relatives of the testator. In any case, the name Wooler/Wouller/Woller is extremely rare. Any help would be much appreciated. Sincerely, Douglas Richardson

Hi Ron
I have a marriage and a death for a William Ernest Levitt, married Mary Winifred Payne Beechworth Vic Australia 1891 and died in Wangaratta Vic 1935. I can find No record of birth, though have been told he was born in Melbourne Victoria.I believe ( through searching lds cds and
australian bdm's) that this is my man..
Frederick William Levitt born Collingwood Melbourne Vic Australia 1857 (I have found no marriage or death records for this man, hence my belief that Frederick William and William Ernest are the same man.)
Frederick William's Parents were... William Levitt or LEVETT born Berwick Sussex around 1808 and died Victoria Aust 1859 married to Sarah FISHER 1856 Victoria Australia. William had 7 brothers and sisters all christened in Sussex.. John, Robert, Esther, Frank, Hannah, Elizabeth, Napoleon
Williams parents were.. William Robert Levitt and Mary ?
I am sorry to trouble you, but am at a loose end with my Levitts, and am writing to you on the off chance that my LEVITTS might connect somewhere It has always been said in my family that William Ernest or (Frederick William as i believe him to be) was in an orphanage somewhere in Melbourne. hence the trouble I have had finding him. His father died when he was 2 and I have not found anything on his mother as yet.
If by any chance any of these names look familiar, I would love to hear from you. I have All Australian Levitt info from William Ernest (Frederick William) to the present day, and am happy to pass it on
kindest regards
Joanne Bruce (nee Levitt)
ps.. if they do connect, I am more than happy to pass on all info I have on
Levitts which are from William to the present

I'm researching the Wooller family in Australia who are descendants of a Samuel Wooller, convict, b c 1802 in London
Have you found out any more about the earlier London Woollers? I think the name is a northern one, and rare as it is, there can't have been many Woollers around in London

Hi Jill
There are two William Woollers who might be of the right vintage, they both married but I don't have family information. I've sent an email to what I think is your address with more information on them. Please reply directly or via this board.
