It is odd that I found no son named Richard. Are my lists complete? Do you know who, when and where the children from these two marriages married?
I realize what an imposition this is, and would appreciate any suggestions more than I can express. Has anyone found
Howell records from the
Lewes or Pevensey Rapes in the 15th century?
It once seemed likely that some local
Howells were among the retinue of the Earl of
Arundel at Agincourt, but I found no evidence. As treasurer of the expedition, the 12th earl must have kept careful records, and I recall once seeing a list of part of his retinue. Perhaps it was in SAC.
Thank you Cordially,
Peter
