I was delighted to see your reply to my query. I believe my grandfather was the son of Hannah and Arthur Barnes but was brought up by his aunt, Margaret Addison who was Hannah's youngest sister. Margaret married Edward Millburn. The connection looks tenuous but it sort of fits family stories. I would love to hear from you my e mail is gillhiston@hotmail.co.uk. I have access to a photo of our common greatgreat grandparents who are buried in the churchyard at Ings.
