Have just come across your Lund entry. My husband's Gt grandmother was Margaret Alderson who was the daughter of Betsy Lund. The 1851 census shows Betsy Alderson and her mother Betsy Lund age 75 living at Hutton House, Levens. Betsy sen's birthplace is given as Hornby, lancs and her daughter's as Carnforth. Margaret married James Strickland at Crosthwaite in 1837. Do we have a connection?

I have looked thru' our records and cannot make a link at the current time but will keep looking for you. We do have a Betsy Lund however she was born approx 1811 in Ingleton, North Yorkshire. We also haven't got any Aldersons or Stricklands as far I recall.
