I'm trying to trace father and son, both named Thomas Benson living in the Kendal area. They were both chairmakers.
Thomas snr would be about 75 in 1841 and married to his wife Agnes. Is there anything to show where Thomas snr was born? Thomas jnr would be about 47 in 1841 and married to Dorothy. Any help would be apreciated. Thanks

Thanks for taking the time and trouble to reply to my query - the 1841 details certainly look interesting - not too sure as to the 1851 details, as I thought that the family was more Kendal based but will investigate further - especially the older Thomas who was widowed by then. Thanks again
