Any information on George family. Richard George Born abt. 1861 married Harriet Gaze born Gloucestershire possibly Upton St. Leonard. Richard's Father was William B.1836 mother Esther Jordan Born 1836. Married 1857. William's father was Thomas George born 1813 mother Sarah. Thomas's father may have been Edmund B1874 mother Sarah. Tried to look up other members researching George family but it is difficult as the name George picks up all people researching someone with Christian name George. So thousand to trawl through unless anyone knows how to do it differently.

My grandmother was Harriet Gaze and on my mother's birth certificate her father is listed as George Gaze. Hopefully it is the same one.

My Harriet Gaze married Richard George. She was from Churchdown in Gloucestershire. However, she did have a brother called George Gaze Born Abt 1855 also from Churchdown. Their father was Frederick Gaze and their mother was Emma. I don't know if this George also married a Harriet. I lose him on the census records after 1881 and unfortunately there is a death record for a George Gaze aged abt. 27 in this area in 1883 although, of course it might not be this George Gaze. Is it posssible that this could be your grandfather? I think there were other Gaze families in this area.
