Searching for any information on my grandfathers parents, my great grandparents.
Thomas John Clarke b.? and Elizabeth Ann Rhodes b. 1892 Birmingham UK.
Thomas died in the 1930 he was a engineer at the austin motor works.
Their children were Arthur b. 1915? Lilian b. 1916? and Eric b. 1930
Elizabeth later married Harold Pingo.
Harold was a cocoa maker. Harold and Elizabeth lived at 144 Harrington rd, Birmingham.
Elizabeth had a grocery store in Selly Oak in the 1930s.
Any infomation on this couple would be greatly appreciated Elizabeths youngest son, eric, married barbara kite and they moved to australia.
Would love to contact someone who is in this line of our family to share information etc.
We have no idea what happened to this couple or their family where they are buried and where our Clarke and Rhodes ancestors are today so PLEEEASE help us...any help wold be greatly appreciated.

I would appreciate any information or leads as we know very little about this couple.
No unfortunately i do not have their marriage cert, i do have a copy of elizabeths death cert.
Not sure of either Thomas of Elizabeths parents names.

At the moment from searching the census, there are a lot of John/Thomas Clark/es and Elizabeth Rhodes to be sure of the correct ones. Hopefully it will be easier when you have the cert.

Thats the only info it gives, you would have to buy the certs for full information.

I was just going by the names you had quoted, and the first two were registered in the same district as the marriage.
