I'm trying to find more information on the Trenfield family in Worcestershire. Currently, I can get no further than Julia Ann Trenfield (my great great great grandmother), born in Upton Upon Severn in 1849. Any help would be appreciated before I go along the lines of purchasing a birth certificate!

Have found what I think is the family on the 1851 Census - transcribed on Ancestry as 'Rumfield' but sure looks like Trenfield to me!

Have found Thomas on the IGI:
Thomas Trefelde b. Jan 1811 Christened 5 AUG 1811 Bredon, Worcs. Parents = William Trenfelde & Sarah

Hi Pam,
Many thanks for that information. Trenfield seems to be one of the most mis-transcribed names. I've managed to find them as Granfield in 1841!
One quick question: What is the IGI? I'm reasonably new to all this and haven't come across that abbreviation yet.
