Surnames: HILL/COLVILLE
The last time I was searching for ancestors on Islandmagee I noticed there were quite a few early Hill gravestones in the Ballykeel graveyard and these are on the internet now under Islandmagee Graveyard Inscriptions 1763-56 for Ballykeel. There were a lot of Hill families and Google has a lot of information about 19th.C Colvilles and Hills. A jehill@interlog.com was researching his family. There were Hills in Ballytober and Colvilles in Ballymoney, Islandmagee, as I recall. There is a Carrickfergus Branch of the North of Ireland Family History Society who meet regularly and someone might be able to point you in the right direction. I beiieve I saw there was a Colville living in Whitehead at bt.com but none now at I.Magee.
