Hope you've had luck with your Carlton family in Ireland. I am curious as i have also got a Carlton family originating from Ireland (county unknown) i have had no luck! i think they moved from Ireland sometime around the 1820s to England. My 5x Great grandfather was James Carlton who married Frances Wagstaff, possibly marriage happened in Ireland has i have found no record of it in England.
