I am writing in response to your request for info. re: Vance/Hoge. According to the Ancestral Files of the Church of Later Day Saints, I am a descendant of Andrew Vance born about 1666, Ireland/Married Jane Hoge of Fermanagh Ireland.
Had a son Samuel Vance in 1691.Emigrated to U.S. Died in Fredrick, Va. after 1740. Is this the family line you are looking for? Cathy

James & Jane(Davis}Vance emigrated from Fermanagh to Canada between 1840-1850 settling for a short time in the Ottawa district before locating in Usborne Twp. Huron County in Ontario Canada. A visit to Lack,N.Ireland confirmed their marriage in 1840. James Vance witnessed my great-grandfather (Hugh Davis) mortgage & will. It is probable that Jane Davis Vance was a sister of Hugh .The Vances,Davis & Keyes families all emigrated to Canada from Fermanagh about the same time and all settled in the same area.Hope this is some help and anything you can add would be appreciated.

I have Davis and Keys ancestors from Fermanagh. I wonder if you would care to exchange information, and possibly join a mailing list of Keys descendents from Fermanagh.

I just stumbled on this message from 1999 and it is family I am particularly interested in. I hope this address is still valid because by now you should be very skilled in genealogy research and I am not. Please reply!
