Surnames: McPhail,Craig Smith.
Hello,Can anyone help me,my dad always said he was born in Bloom Street,Belfast all though his parents Archibald McPhail & Christina Craig Smith were from Govan,Scotland,his older brother was born in Patrick,lanarkshire,Scotland.Archibald & Christina settled in Bootle,liverpool later with their three sons.I'm totally
lost as to why they were in Belfast and also did Bloom Street exist?.Can anyone tell me what district I should search for his birth in Ireland.Any help would be grately appreciated as i have been searching for several years without any success.Many thanks.
