I am trying to trace the townland of Glounlea, Glenflesk, that is mentioned in The Casey Collection (Vol 8, Index page 81). Glenflesk RC Parish, Barony of Magunihy - The pre-formation parish of Glenflesk, called the Parish of Killaha, lists Glounlea as one of its townlands. I can find no trace of the townland of Glounlea in this area now. There is a Glounlea, near Currow, but this is not in Killaha and is in a different Barony also. Is this one and the same place? I would be grateful for any assistance.
