Thank you so much for the help. I will have a look at all your suggestions. I am so excited to have located them after 10 years of working on this line.
All the reocrds here in the US simply claimed Patrick was born in Dublin on 5 July 1828. His baptism records at Monasterevin shows he was baptised Aug 8 1828 and resided in Pass. When his sister Mary Ann was baptised in 1826 they resided in Cowpasture and later moved to Ballagh when sister Catherine was baptised in 1830. The left for America in 1832 but do not show up for 18 years in any records.
Thanks to a advertsement in a Boston paper looking for missing persons,I was able to locate thier departure Co of Kildare.
