Corry Family
I have two ancestors that I have traced back to Ireland in my family tree... their names are Cope Corry and Newcomen Corry. They were probably brothers and their father's name was Cope Corry as well. I have found a couple of references to them in County Longford. I have found a Cope Corry listed as a tenant on the lands of L.H. King Harman in 1855. I have found Newcomen Corry listed in the Longford Militia Muster in 1832. I have been unable to locate much else. I am interested in finding out anything on these individuals or these family lines. I also have reason to believe that the Corry's were in County Fermanagh as well, but this is the first connection I have found in Irish records thus far. The family settled in Michigan in bits and pieces between 1855 and 1870.
