My ancestors are the Byrne family that lived in Salterstown as early as 1700. My GGG grandparents are John Byrne(b. 1763) and Mary Harmon. Both are buried in the Salterstown cemetary. My GG grandfather was Michael Byrne(b. 1802), John and Mary's son. In 1837 he married Bridget ?? in Co. Louth. They both immigrated to the US in 1848 with 3 of their children.
The baptismal records of Micheal and Bridget's children transcribes Bridget's surname as Boyle, Ball and Daly.
