Looking for information about my material grandmother with the various spellings of her name. She was born June 1, 1871; parents Thomas Hosti, Hosty, Hostie, and mother is Jane Carey. My mother mentioned Kilvin, Ballendine District, Claremorris, Mayo. I know she had a brother Thomas and twin sisters. She emigrated to NYC in early 1900s and some other members of her family emigrated to the Bridgeport, CT area.
