The details for Ayrshire Archives will be out of date, they now have their own site etc at: http://www.ayrshirearchives.org.uk

If you search the poor relief database on www.ayrshire-roots.com below, and search on ardle it will pick up all spelling variations on it. It picked up 6 entries although one was for Fardles. There are also McCARDLE entries listed in the surnames and herald databases.
